Preschool Outdoor Environment Newsletter 02.08.2020
Hello Preschool Families!
This week in Outdoor Environment we continued to work on our collaborative art projects. We are finished with 3/4ths of them now, and I can’t wait for you to see what we have been working on. These projects will be part of our art auction at the Atlantis fundraiser at the end of the month! Everyone has been taking great pride in their work and we are excited to finally show it off.
Super cold temperatures last week meant we had a little less garden time than usual. We covered some of our plants due to the below freezing temperatures, and we made sure that our chickens had plenty of bedding. We talked about how chickens keep warm in the cold (they can even survive in the snow!). We also refilled our new hummingbird feeder with fresh nectar.
We are looking for volunteers to help on 2/15 with some Atlantis fundraiser tasks. Please see our sign up genius for more details. We would love to see you there! Our fundraiser this year will help support two new Montessori classrooms next year, as well as the continuation of our Outdoor Environment program.
